NewCity Bistro

We would like to say thank you for an enjoyable experience. My husband and I enjoyed the beer, wine, french onion soup...the bistro burger and well this homemade pasta beauty. The DESSERT❣️❣️❣️ Had a nice opportunity to speak with Chef Kim, our server Dexter was super sweet, prompt and efficient. I am so looking forward to enjoying many more meals with friends.

Came back here today after not going since it was just a coffee shop. It was bad. Went with 2 friends, and we were seated outside. My friend asked for a water and had to wait probably 20 minutes for it. Our server brought out coffees, but no water for her. I ordered the milk bread french toast and thought it was a joke. It was $15 and barely any food, just tiny cut up pieces of the toast around the edges of the plates, and no sides. For $15, this should be a proper plate of french toast. My friend's burger was really wet, and the french dip sandwich was weirdly sweet. The only thing that was really good was my iced latte. For these prices, the food and service need to be way better. I won't be going back.

Been coming to this place for a couple of months now and every time I come the people at New City Bistro manage to upgrade something about the food and services! Without say Darwin is INCREDIBLE and his food amazing and home made. Now, Edrick the new server was complete amazing. Caring, polite and very attentive to detail. From the bread at the begging, to the main course and last the dessert is a great experience.

Changing to a wait service has made what once was for us, a cute little coffee shop, into a place we will never visit again. The wait times (while already seated) are excessive- up to 30 minutes with no interaction after being given the menu. We saw one couple go inside to pay because no one ever came back out. Please hire more wait staff if this is the way it’s going to stay. It’s too much for one person to wait on everyone outside and inside. If you go, I recommend the weekend- and although it’s busier, the service is much better. Perhaps because they have more wait staff.

Came in with a friend and got a coffee flight next door, then decided to try the bistro for the first time. I remembered the food at the coffee shop as always being so good, so I was excited to try their bistro. I got the fish sandwich and my friend got the burrata sandwich, both were excellent! We also found out the bar had free coquito shots, so of course we had some; both extremely good, especially with that torched cinnamon! Wanting to come back asap!
