Newport Fish & Deli

So I decided to try this place out and let’s just say I will not be back. You can tell that this business has been around for quite some time which is fine but the food is not. I ordered a shrimp basket and buffalo chicken wings with fries. The order came up to $29 dollars and he overcharged us. After pointing it out to the cashier who I assume was the owner as well he refunded the difference. I was also shocked that he charges $4 extra if you want your wings tossed in sauce which is just crazy to me. After 10 minutes he got our attention by banging a stick on the counter, when I reached the window he showed me the shrimp basket I literally was left speechless. You charged me almost $13 dollars for popcorn shrimp that looks bought from Walmart and fried up. The fries did not look fully coo

$21 was not worth it. Small portions, fish taste old. Substituted vegetable fried rice for $6 upcharge. Not to mention I asked for sweet tea an got lemonade. So disappointing. Maybe its time for rebranding

Food taste good but the customer service is very poor. Over taxing and overcharging to use your debit card regardless to amount you spend. The chicken wings so small but taste good. The medium other of catfish is 5 prices but portioned more like 2 whole pieces. If you don't mind paying a higher price for smaller portions this is the place for you

Charge me $1 fee to use my debit card (which is illegal) and they over taxed me Example: Steak and Cheese Sub with fries - $8.99 Plus $1 fee for Card usage (Which is illegal) Total was $10.75. It should have been $10.64 if you tax the fee for the debit card(WHICH IS ILLEGAL) **Price should have been $9.57 without the illegal $1 debit card fee** Or $10.57 with the illegal debit card fee

It was awful. The fish had to much bread on it and it taste old. The shrimp was gummy. The fries taste like they had been fried in the fish oil. Will never come back. Threw it all away.
