Nick's Country Oven

New owners new name. Variety of choices. The soups are sometimes hit or miss depending on who makes it because it can be really peppery or salty or really thick when it's not supposed to be. Breakfast is usually good. Overall a nice family spot to grab a bite to eat.

Food is fantastic whether you eat in or get a carry out. Today I got the Reuben and was very pleased. Favorite place to grab a bite.

If I could give 0 stars for the restaurant I would. I would give the 5 stars to the waitress very nice. But the menu is misleading. Under sandwiches it says 1 plus 2 then lists fries, soup, salad or coleslaw. It’s not pick two it’s an extra $2 charge EACH. But there is no $ to specify you are paying more. The Rueben is all sauerkraut and no meat for $10. I will not be back.

I am editing my review after a discussion with the owner, it was a not so experienced person responding to the reviews that were left. I understand completely. Other then the fish and chips that we loved from southside The food is actually pretty good. The menu got a upgrade new dishes have been added. The owner has shown professionalism by reaching out personally.

Went there for the first time since they got new owners and everything was amazing! Great food and plenty of it for the price I will definitely be back again I think this is my new favorite restaurant
