Visited this restaurant on 4/3/2025 after a disappointing experience at Al Madina. I ordered the rice with goat plate, which came with goat meat chunks, fried mixed vegetables, fried onions, and a few French fries. The dish overall was flavorful—especially the rice and fried vegetables, which stood out. Unfortunately, the goat meat was dull, lacking flavor, and tasted old—possibly due to being frozen for too long. Service remains poor, and the seating situation is uncomfortable. This restaurant, like Al Madina, has potential but continues to struggle with basic customer experience.

This was my first time trying Somali food so I didn't know what to expect. I ordered the goat because why not order the goat. I had never had that before either. The guy behind the counter was very nice and helpful. He suggested it and I went with it. I received a mammoth plate of food for my $12. You cannot argue with the portion size here. The rice was the best thing on the plate. It was outstanding in both flavor and texture. I would go back just for the rice. The goat had great flavor, but it was a tad stringy and full of connective tissue. Maybe that is the way goat always is or maybe it just needed to cook longer. As I said, I don't know goat. Great food! Great prices. They are very friendly. Can call and order for pick up. Even the most expensive thing on menu which I ordered is enough for a family of 6 and was only $25 and it came with lime, 2 sauces, 2 bananas, and 2 sodas.

I ordered food from here for the first time today through DoorDash. It was absolutely delicious! The proportions were also much more than I expected. I got the tuna sambusa. It was a little on the spicy side for my delicate pallet but very tasty. I also got the chicken naan quesadillas. They were the absolute best. Soft, meaty, and cheesy. Just what I wanted. All and all I would absolutely order from here again.
