NJ Jerk

Good service and food. I got curry chicken over rice and peas. It was good. The only thing… There was a lot of little bones in the gravy (maybe don’t chop the chicken so much). Aside from that it was good. It was worth the $8. I would go back.

Listen, the food here is really really good🙌🏾, it surprised me the first time i ordered. I got the Snapper and babyyy, it was snapping! The sauce and the flavor on that dish is unmatched & the portions? a whole lot! I honestly had to try something else to see if it was just the fish but the Pepper steak is amazing, the jerk chicken w/ sauce is great as well. The food here is flavorful and has a unique taste for Caribbean cuisine but in the BEST way. The pricing isn’t bad as well so i grab food from this spot all the time now. It’s a great addition to the community, definitely check it out for yourself

I can’t help but share my love for this restaurant! In my opinion, it serves the best food in the neighborhood. Having recently relocated to Jersey, I've missed the restaurants back in Queens, but this place has become a wonderful substitute. My family and I have enjoyed everything from the curry goat and curry chicken to the Rasta Pasta and my personal favorite, the jerk chicken. And let me tell you, the rice and peas is exactly how it’s supposed to taste! We’ve ordered from here twice, and every time, the flavors have been spot on. Moreover, the pricing is excellent considering the quality and portion sizes. For anyone who disagrees, they clearly don’t get out much. I love a place with great customer service! I had the jerk chili wings they were amazing! The mac and cheese was really dry, I’m hoping next time it will be cheesier. I’m looking forward to trying other menu items.

I tried the spicy beef patty, absolutely delicious! The bread was flaky and tasty. Also tried the jerk chicken patty, very good as well. You can smell the jerk seasoning before you hit the door of the restaurant! The jerk shrimp skewer was very tasty as well, it was sweet and spicy and well cooked. Lastly, the curry chicken was well prepared, just could've used a bit more salt. I had the Mac and cheese with that, which was alright but could use a bit of salt and just a bit more cheese. For $7, the mini was a great portion. I will definitely be returning!
