So hubby and I decided to visit No.1 Chinese Restaurant tonite since it's under new management. We ordered the Mongolian Beef Combo (comes with egg roll, and veggie lo mein). I messed up our order and ordered the wrong soup (wanted wonton) side. Now, keep in mind, they classify themselves as Chinese which they are but this is more Hunan/Xiang region Chinese. It's spicy 🌶️ but they are right on about following your lead on how spicy you want or not. I've read that this is new ownership... there's tables to eat in or a super convenient website to order take out. Service is friendly! Great customer service and my husband was smiling and laughing talking to the frontman. It's good to see good food in this neighborhood but again keep in mind it's different style than say, Peking in Ft. Pi
I really enjoyed the food. I was hesitated at first A lot of Port St. Lucie Chinese restaurants are not good but this is really good. I really enjoy the food quality meat. Good vegetables, hot fresh and I really enjoy my food. Definitely will be coming back. I was asking around if this food was good and everybody said it was. I ordered the pepper steak it was amazing. A 10 out of 10 I highly recommend but keeping your mind since my first time
Very good! This is my to go to spot from now on! I got Mongolian Beef and General Tso Chicken, they cook very fast!
Ordered Szechuan Chicken dinner that came with white rice and egg roll. The dinner was excellent. The vegetables were fresh and cut into large pieces and the chicken was great. The egg roll was great as well and was cooked in clean oil. You can tell when they are cooked in old oil. Definitely plan to order again.
I got sesame chicken, egg rolls, pork fried rice and steamed white rice. Chicken was like rubber, egg rolls tasted like they were made a week ago in rancid oil. Pork rice was also tainted with a a rancid flavor. The steamed rice had a funny smell. My wife, son and I all had diarrhea and we only ate a few bites because it was inedible. We threw the whole $54 dinner away. I did give my dog a little of the steamed rice which she promptly threw up on my rug moments later. I know Chinese food is always hit and miss, but, this was the absolute worst I've had in my 65 yrs. Buyer beware. I'm wondering if the high reviews are all family or friends
