NOCHES DE COLOMBIA ENGLEWOOD

This my go-to when I’m in the area to pick up Akaline water from the Rica water store. It right across the street. The food is always fresh and nicely prepared. The mostly female staff is beautiful and service is always with a smile. The place is spotless, great bar and big screens for watching the Knicks, football or Soccer! Prices are great and they have a variety of options. Meat lovers get ready! 😋

A bit pricey for what we had, but I have to remember that I am visiting the East Coast and price points tend to be a bit higher. My rice and plantains were delicious. The sandwich featured did not get rave reviews. Thoroughly enjoyed the fresh guacamole made table side.

Went in early morning to buy some pan de bono for my coworkers. Had to trash it before getting to work. Not sure if they are selling yesterday’s bread. It was cold and rock hard. Ordered some mini empanadas and they also taste stale and are all burst open. Look almost bitten into wha awful presentation. Might as well go up a few blocks to Colombia caliente., their baked goods never fail. What a waste of time and money. Thanks to reminding me why I never come here.

Update! I went back for the porkChops! It was delicious! I added the picture. My friend got had the same dish as before. Hello My Foodies! I was in Englewood and we stopped in here to get a bite. This is a franchise restaurant so I have been to 2 others. The food has always been pretty good so I anticipated a good meal. I was correct. I'll be back next week for the pork Chops! The decor was lovely, the music and the server were great and friendly. They had this small bakery section when you come in. Need to try the Empanadas on my next visit. I love Empanadas! We had the platter with chicharon, rice, steak, egg and beans. Delicious! Pricing was reasonable for the most part, but the dessert pricing was too high for me so I had to skip it. This was my first time visiting a Colombian restaurant, and it was a great experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming. All the dishes in the photos came in generous portions and tasted amazing. The greens in the salad were fresh, and the beef was tender. The prices were also very reasonable, so it felt like a great value for the meal.
