The food was good not great but good. It wasn't as flavorful as I thought it would be...since, upon entry, the aroma of good smelling food was in the air. I ordered the Colombian Skirt steak which came with white rice (I paid $1 more for yellow rice), beans, roasted corn on the cob, potato with sour cream, sweet plantains and red onion/tomato salad. I also had a Mango Mojito which was delicious. The steak was tender and seasoned, the corn was seasoned, the rice was bland, unexpected since I opted for the yellow rice, it only tasted better when I added the beans, the potato was meh, the sour cream helped it out. The waitress was great until it was time to pay the bill. She attempted to charge me the credit card surcharge although I was paying with my debit card. IT IS ILLEGAL AND UNLAWFUL
It was an ok experience. Ambience was loud to enjoyed dinner, or at least the time we went. We had coffees, hot and cold and both left a lot to be desired. The hot one was more like lukewarm, and barely cinnamon like stated on the menu. Calamari was crispy so I was pleased there. Plátanos maduros weren’t ripe properly so they were hard to chew on. Pan de bono was good. We have some other drinks from the bar but they were either too strong or not enough liquor. We had great company so we did the most we could with what we had.
Knew of this place for a few years but for some reason never went… and that’s my only regret! The menu alone speaks volumes and the entire place exudes fun and festiveness. The guac literally made right in front of you and to your liking and specs! The chorizo and soup were also amazing. However, best of all was the service from Sodaya & Fernando! They absolutely rock and will take care of you like nobody else! Bravo. And don’t forget to check out their amazing bakery and coffee bar!
Love it..!!! The food was very good, cocktails were delicious and of course the live music was amazing to enjoy. Our waiter Carlos from Colombia gave in excellent service. Will recommend it and definitely will return when back in the area.
Fun spot for sure. Lively music and open and bright atmosphere. delicious coffee and espresso beverages. Got some pork belly and an almond croissant to go. Was somewhat disappointed as the croissant only had slivered almonds on top and no filling and the pork lacked salt. Coffee was tasty for sure. Other pastries and meals looked phenomenal so do want to give it another shot!
