Nomiki's Plakka Greek Restaurant

Authentic Greek Food We’ve relocated here from the Chicago area and have been searching for good Greek food. Chicago has a great Greek Town and we’ve had many meals there, setting the bar pretty high. The main difference here is the meat blend and flavor. Up north, the meat has more lamb and garlic in it and that is hard to find here. Nomiki’s is the best we’ve found so far. My wife and daughter had fountain sodas and I started with a Aris Greek beer. A lager, malty and a bit hoppy and easy to drink. I did follow that with a Fix Hellas, the first and most historic Greek lager beer. Also very smooth and easy drinking. We started off with a Saganaki ($15.99). Opa! Flaming cheese, a bit salty, soft and chewy, served with pits bread wedges. Festive and fun. All of us ordered the Gyro Platter (

I come here often and I keep returning for a reason. The portions are filling and the tzatziki is super fresh and flavorful. i love the atmosphere, it makes it pleasant to dine in and the staff is very attentive and hospitable. :) Love small businesses that go the extra mile to keep people coming back

Well let’s start by saying Thank you Lord. We happened upon this fine place by going next door at the European Market first. Then saw this place. I gotta tell ya. It was the best Gyro place south of South Bend Indiana. I mean cmon now. Absolutely hands down the best Gyro I’ve had. Then we had some Pita Pizza. Just as good. I can’t say enough about this joint. You gotta go if you have a craving for Greek. The server was fantastic. (Sorry didn’t get his name). The cook, killer man. The best. Ya gotta go if you are anywhere close to Ft Myers. They’ve been here since 1991 from what I understand and I can see why now. We will be back with the entire family for this Feast!!! Great job guys.

I usually have the gyro and fries or Greek salad! Had the moussaka last night and it was AWESOME! So good. I have a new favorite. When I went to Greece we always ordered it to "judge" the restaurant. This was so good - one of the best I've had!

If you want authentic, fresh, homemade Greek food, then this is the place! Everything on the menu is cooked to perfection. Truly the BEST Greek food and hospitality in town! It’s obvious that this family puts a lot of love into their recipes. Not only is the food delicious, the deserts are always amazing too! I have been dining at Plakka for 13 years now and the experience has consistently been exceptional! Excellent service in a cozy atmosphere and so much more. “OPA” I highly recommend you check it out for yourself 🇬🇷💙🎉
