Nonna Maria's Italian Deli & Market

Had no idea this place existed. Friendly staff and owner. I ordered the Godfather deli sub and it was really good! They carry fresh imported bagels from NY and have a small market inside. I also bought a box of the ravioli which I was told are hands down the best. Can't wait to find out when I make them tomorrow. Wish I knew if them sooner.

As an American Italian who is proud of American Italian heritage month I drive 2 hours to eat here once a month where I am originally from in Matthews NC to also honor Christopher Columbus Day the first Italian American🇮🇹 The best food, the best people, the best Italian American experience. Go eat at Nonna Maria’s asap ♥️

What a gem of a spot!! Prosciutto Burrata bagel was fireeee! The staff were super friendly and made it really inviting. Loved everything.

Update: I wanted to write this review due to the quality of food received with the past couple of orders. The first time…I get it, there are some days when things goes wrong. But it seems to be a consistent issue. I ordered a number 4 today which comes with burrata, prosciutto, and arugula. Upon unwrapping the sandwich, i noticed the yellowed arugula right away. There was so much of it. And when I opened the sandwich, it was appalling to see that not only were the arugula old and yellow…some were also at the point of rotting. Yet they filled my sandwich with it. This cannot be an oversight. This was not one or two leaves. This was blatant and obvious arugula that have turned bad and should not be used or served to customers. Also I can smell that they’ve gone bad. So there is no way the

We were out shopping, saw this cute place & had to try it! I felt like I had been whisked away & was on vacation. They had a wide variety of authentic Italian staples in the market. Since we had never been in before the staff was welcoming, friendly & helped us pick out a few things to try. Everything was fantastic! We enjoyed sandwiches & desserts, but would love to come back for bagels & breakfast items. If you need a quiet place to sneak away, this is it!
