I had a good experience. The portions were huge, so definitely come hungry. One of the highlights for me was the bruschetta honestly one of the best I’ve ever had… The melted cheese on the bread was amazing… so good. The pasta dishes were also really good. I especially liked the gnocchi. They also had gelato, but it was already late and we were too full to try it. Next time for sure!
My favorite part is how the staff pronounced the names of the dishes in an extra Italian way. 😂😂 It was fun. We have a group of about 16. The service was fast and attentive. BEWARE: the free bread is delicious and you will fill up on it. The portions are way too generous. I could not finish my pizza, but ate the rest for breakfast 😋
I was fortunate to spend a few days in Italy last year. The food there was excellent. Unfortunately, it has made it harder for me to find a good Italian restaurant here in the States. The meal i had at Nonna Rosa was the closest I have found to the food in Italy since I returned. Our server Kaylee B was kind enough to talk through some options and suggestions. Eventually, I settled on the Casarecce Siciliano. My wife went with the Shrimp Scampi Capellini. We also had some Bruschetta, salad, and the free bread. The Casarecce Siciliano was the clear winner of the two dishes. While the Shrimp Scampi was fine, the flavor, the pasta, and the sausage in the Casarecce Siciliano make it a must try. The Bruschetta was good and the free bread was surprisingly good. We finished off with the
Absolutely delicious from start to finish. The vodka sauce was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, I could’ve eaten it with a spoon. The tiramisu and coffee gelato were the perfect ending, not too sweet and so satisfying. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. Cozy atmosphere, great food, and I’m already thinking about what I’ll order next time. Highly recommend!
We met at Nona Rosa for a birthday dinner for our daughter. Our 5 YO granddaughter loves the food here, she requires a gluten free diet. Nona Rosa makes their own GF bread and pasta. Problem solved. Then we were surprised with a visit from Santa Claus and Mrs Claus. What fun and a free picture of Santa, Mrs Claus and our granddaughter. We will be back again, my new favorite Italian place.
