Norfolk Public Library: Little Creek Branch

Lots of reviews about the front desk ladies but they were very lovely to me. Helped me with the printer and computer. 15c for black and white. 25c for color. The printing is very old school though. Machine only accepts quarters and dollar bills. Can’t print jobs more than $5 at a time which is kind of frustrating when you’re doing large loads of printing. Makes it slow going but cheaper than anywhere else. Cute little library. Nice place to study

I love their children's area, it has many books to choose from and a great play area. Their staff is sometimes helpful and polite and other times not so much. It just depends on the day and person, but they're decent enough.

The front desk experience really detracts from what should be a fun and educational activity. One staff member in particular is consistently rude and unwelcoming, which makes the visit unnecessarily stressful. I hope this branch considers additional customer service training, or encourage retirement.

Super cute kids section. It had a lot of toys for kids!

Some of the staff are very helpful and nice to me, but some of the women staff are beyond rude. I came to the library to be in a quiet peaceful environment and to meet my child's speech therapist, not to be told what to do every five minutes. My child stood on the chair for a second while I held him, since he's two and couldn't see the screen, a few seconds later a woman tells me to get him off the chair. I was still waiting for his tutor and get a phone call which vibrated once in my pocket, my child's tutor is on her way running a little behind and wanted to let me know......same lady comes over and tells me to get off my phone. There is nicer ways of communicating with adults, I'm not a dam kid. Made me feel like she was racist just the way she talked to me. The library is for everyone
