I grew up coming to this pool and I’ve watched it improve over the years. I love the murals, the seating, picnic shelter, different sections for different swimming ability levels, and the staff. Covid was the reason for the reservation system, and with rises and falls in numbers, it’s smart to keep that system in place. Some may not understand how the reservation process works, which is surely frustrating for them, but once you know how to use it, it’s easy! It is nice having a limited amount of people in the pool at any given time and the rules ensure that everyone is safe. You’ll find that 1 hr 45 min is actually plenty of time to enjoy a swim, and allows others to also get the chance to do the same. You DO need to plan your visit 2-3 days in advance by making a reservation. Choose an *
Since the pool's remodel in 2020, this is the nicest pool to visit here in Burlington. The zero entry splash area and accessible pool entry provides accessibility to physically restricted persons. The separate areas are clearly marked with depth and plenty of lifeguards are on duty. The women's bathroom facilities are very nice with 4 shower units that provide soap and shampoo for quick showers after swimming. A covered patio area with picnic tables is a great place to enjoy lunch. Make sure to visit their website to schedule your swim Reservation time!
While you may feel like you’re signing your life away to register online, it is well worth it! Note - the website doesn’t make clear that it’s free to make a reservation, BUT you will need to pay when you arrive at the pool. My 2 year old loves the toddler-sized water slides and splash pad area as well as the gradual entry into the shape part of the pool. I recommend grippy water shoes for little ones who might be tempted to run into the water, because the transition area from splash pad to pool is a little slippery for those feet. There are lounge chairs and picnic benches available to park your belongings, as well as a very clean bathroom/changing room/shower area. Definitely will be coming back!
The kids had a great time! The lifeguards were very attentive and made the small kids doing the swim test feel very comfortable with doing the test.
Loved it friendly staff and we are from out of town most definitely will come again
