North Shore Shrimp Truck

Sitting right across from Shark’s Cove, so the location was excellent, but its Garlic Shrimps were below average on this island known for Garlic Shrimps. We also had its lime butter shrimps that were a tad better than its Garlic Shrimps. All shrimps tasted like right out of a frozen box, meaning: not fresh at all. Parking was easy and there were plenty of picnic tables. We opted for the beach to eat our lunch right across the street. It should be a 2-star, but it did provide some unique North Shore food truck experience to our friends who were visiting Oahu for the first time.

The shrimp is amazing! The best peel and eat shrimp on the north shore! Love all the garlic they use and it’s cooked perfectly!

I was excited to try the garlic shrimp, it was recommended as the most popular by the lady working the register. She acted like we were almost annoying her by being there and ordering although the place wasn’t busy at all. The shrimp plate was around $18, quite expensive and not good at all. It was not flavorful and was quite bland and disappointing. It was also gross to see several of the shrimp were not cleaned properly- still some of the vein.

The Garlic shrimp, and lemon shrimp plates with rice and salad are Top Tier. Quality meal. Everything tasted fresh!

If you are in North Shore eating at North Shore Shrimp truck is must. The shrimps are fresh and delicious. Rocio is a wonderful host. The ambience is super. Enjoyed everything.
