North Street Cafe

This is under new ownership so disregard the previous reviews……Attention Darto’s fans. The new North Street Cafe in Bethlehem is fantastic! A local family, that lives right up the street is running it…….They have a lot of the old Darto‘s menu, and a couple new things, including delicious chicken and waffles! Fresh breaded chicken, not frozen stuff….. the other restaurant that took over barely lasted six months. This place will be here for a long time!

I ordered a chicken caesar salad there , and it was extremely skimpy portion. And I ordered it to go and when I got home with my order, I realized that they never put the onions and tomatoes on it that I ordered with the order, they totally forgot to put it on there. And the portion was very horrible. And I paid like 17.00 dollars for it and that was without the tip!!!!!!!

We enjoyed our breakfast except the home fries which were too buttery. I like butter so make your own assumptions. Everything else was good including portion size and quality. Very affordable also.

Haven't been here in about 8 years and thought I would try it again. Big mistake! Wife and I ordered 2 omelets. See pics for reference. Wife's omelet was floating in some sort of liquid. Homefries seem to be boiled and then submerged in oil or grease. Wife asked for well done home fries and they definitely weren't well done. No crispiness whatsoever. Rye toast was decent. Coffee was not good. Can't complain about the price- 2 omelets and 2 coffees for $17. Last time coming to Darto's. I have no idea how this place gets 4.6 on here.

Amazing food and great prices. Everything I had heard about it was true 😊 Glad I took the time to check it out and we will definitely be back. A neighborhood gem.
