Northampton Diner

I LOVE old style diners and I was so happy to find this one so close to my new home! The people are friendly the vibe is cozy!!! The food is typical diner food but would 100% come again. Cash only business. They have an ATM. The business and home may/may not be for sale- there’s a for sale sign outside. I wish the owners nothing but happiness and luck as I truly enjoyed this little place. Had corned beef hash, two eggs, home fries and bacon. It was typical but still good. The home fries were a tad dry but still yummy. Also had a special- their kielbasa and cheese omelette with toast and home fries, and the omelette was very good. Would come back I loved the vibe!

Everything about this diner is wonderful! From the food to the service, to the friendly people who come in. Everything cooked to order, breakfast all day. My bacon was super crispy, my eggs perfectly cooked, with just enough toast (well buttered!) to sop up all the yolk. Be forewarned...CASH ONLY! But theres an ATM on site if you forget. Stop on by for a great way to start the day!

My husband and I came in for breakfast. I looked at the reviews before coming and saw they had gluten free options. Waited an hour for food. Watched two tables after us get their food first and FINISH. It was annoying and we left before eating. As we were leaving I looked and saw our food wasn’t even done yet. All the other tables around us felt for the situation and the other couple that walked in after us left once they heard how long the wait was. I knew right away it’s because we weren’t locals. Should have left once we walked in. Never left a diner before or any restaurant before eating. Only thing I can say is the prices are affordable and the orange juice is good.

I have been eating here for years. I love the food and the atmosphere. The gang there are always polite and friendly. Can’t wait to be a regular customer when I retire. My first day of freedom will be a big breakfast!

A favorite stop along the trek up to the Adirondacks. If you are on Rt.30 in the area definitely stop for a good breakfast or lunch with friendly staff. Bring cash$ they don't take plastic.
