Northside Branch Library

Northside Library is a lively and well‑maintained space, full of students, readers, and children’s programs. The layout is neat and inviting, and the computer area feels like a small classroom or tech lab. It’s a great place to study or relax, though the early closing times—especially the 4 PM closure on Saturdays—limit how long you can stay.

What a cute little library! Located next to a park/playground, I really enjoyed the visit I had here with my little one. Within walking distance of a bunch of shops and restaurants, this library is on the smaller side, but was perfect for finding a new selection of children’s books. The librarian was incredibly helpful, as we needed to sign up for a new card after discovering that our Santa Clara County library cards wouldn’t work here. She got us signed up quickly, and even chatted a bit with my son about his new school and some of his interests. They also seem to have a great variety of classes and events for children and adults. Happy to have found our new local library!

Nice and organized place. Staff is helpful and friendly. In general the place is quiet. Only the kids area isn’t, but not noisy either. For those who don’t know, you can borrow many things there, not only books. Check their web site.

My kids love coming to the library . It is clean , organized and has super helpful staff. The library have so many events and activities for the kids and parents throughout the year, especially now during summer break it’s a good spot to read and attend events. It had craft , build it , east bay Vivarium, story telling, music , magic show , meet reptiles , K-pop party and many many other events for the kids . The events are still going on 👍

A nice local library with a calm and welcoming atmosphere. The books are well organized, and you can easily borrow them.
