Northwest Regional Library

Our family just moved to Cape Coral from Northern America and without any friends or family here the Northwest Regional Library was the first place we felt incredibly welcomed. At the entrance there was a very sweet gentleman who greeted us. My 2 kids absolutely love Miss Kelly's story time. This is the 4th library I'm attending with my 2 homeschooled kids and Miss Kelly has definitely stood out with her calmness, patience with toddlers, continuous smiles and so much positive energy. We're so thankful for our time at this library

I went there to print up paystubs for my apartment leasing office and I wasn't able to do it on my own. I asked for assistance from someone (I didn't get her name) she really didn't want to help me. She cropped one paystub and was sighing as if it was a difficult task to do. She asked me if I needed her to crop the other 5 paystubs and I told her no. I was so incredibly uncomfortable dealing with this miserable and negative person that I couldn't wait to get away from her!! She was wear a torquise American Indian necklace and had dark hair and eyes. Her eyes were literally blank and dark in every sense of the word. I will never return to this library as I normally go to the other Cape Coral library and have never had a negative experience there. Bottom line, if a person is miserable and ha

So full disclaimer, I don’t live in Florida, am actually from Toronto, but I have to say this library blows anything from there out of the water. I’ve been taking my 2 year old daughter here every day while we’re vacationing here and she has been enthralled every time. There’s just so much to do and loads of activities. I really love also how all the employees seem to really care, they all were super kind to us and it really helped give that warm feeling you want libraries to have. Overall I highly recommend coming to this library!

In this library, children, or perhaps not-so-young children, come in to play video games in the middle of the morning. I don't know if they're homeschooled or skipping school, but it's annoying, especially one of them who talks very loudly without any regard for the other people who are studying. Nobody tells him to be quiet, yet one afternoon while I was studying in the "teen zone," the librarian came out and warned us that children from Mariner school would be arriving soon and that it would be very noisy. Her tone wasn't so much one of concern, but more like: "Leave now because I don't want to deal with complaints about what's about to come through that door." This employee is someone, or perhaps the only one, who always greets you with an uncomfortable expression, barely even saying he

I love this library for after school and to hang out earlier today I go to the library and I’m in the bathroom no announcement no one coming to check the bathrooms and I get locked in luckily my mom was outside and I was able to unlock the door and she pulled it open you guys need to get better at checking the whole library and use announcements for when the place is closing
