Northwoods Inn

Never had a bad meal. Have been there for breakfast and dinner. Always satisfied. Had my husbands birthday celebration with 12 people at Northwoods. I did make reservations because it is the right thing to do. The food and waitress were fantastic. The owner came over to wish him a happy birthday also. Northwoods is a great place to go. I highly recommend.

Very friendly and clean family business. Everything was so delicious, including the salad. I would highly recommend the Prime Rib or Ribs nice light smoked flavor on the Ribs. I definitely will be back to enjoy more of this great atmosphere including there outside area.

We came up for a road trip to see where Dillinger had a shoot out with police. It is the original bar and the lodge still shows the bull it holes. Bartender was very friendly and informative, plus made a very good old fashioned. Well worth the time to investigate.

Awesome Friday night fish fry. We had the deep fried Walleye. It was fantastic. I worked at supper clubs and know my fish!! This is on the top of the list. $20, but well worth it. The waitresses were friendly. The Ice Tea was even excellent!!! The dinner roll was out of this world, the cross between a buttery biscuit and a dinner roll. French fries were seasoned perfectly and nice and crisp. We loved so much we went back for Sandwiches the next night. French dip was really good and the pulled pork my honey had was up there too!

Very friendly waitress!! Food was amazing and very affordable. The best mushroom and swiss I've had in awhile. Will definitely be stopping back again the next time we are this way.
