If you’re looking for high on calories but dang it’s worth it, Nubby’s is your guy! We had a waiting time of 45 minutes on a busy Saturday evening, but we stayed. The aromas from the kitchen and the chaos in the seating area ensured we didn’t leave. We knew what we wanted even when the recommended dish were pizzas. The burgers looked too good to pass and we weren’t disappointed. Creole BBQ Shrimp: They were half a pound and smothered in butter, but slightly lacked the Cajun seasonings and were over salted. Paired with the toasted bread it tasted fine, but this ain’t the dish that blew our mind. Philly Cheesesteak: We chose the chopped ribeye and it was delicious. It was heavy, but we didn’t regret it one bit. My husband and I split the sandwich because we were both keen on the same one.
Great food and great service! Loved the pulled pork nachos, brisket egg rolls, Caesar salad, pizza, and my personal fave was the Mac and cheese! I believe our server was Megan and she was very kind and helpful!
We discovered this place through our Pizza Passport and it quickly turned into a favorite. The menu offered an exciting mix of choices that kept things interesting. We tried the brisket egg rolls, the tipsy chicken sandwich, and the goat pizza and every dish impressed us.
We start it off with chicken and dumplings and onion soup with garlic cheese bread. I then got a 3 meat combo plate. The Texas burnt ends just tasted like some roast that wasn't very tender, but the turkey and the brisket I did enjoy. We also ordered a 1/2 baby back it did have a good taste. Each meal came with 2 sides green beans were tasty had bacon in them, Mac and cheese was just alright, and tots are tots. The small pizza was a great size about a 14in, meat lovers hit the spot with all the pork you could ask for on the thin crispy crust. Waitress and staff were kind and helpful would love to come back and try some of there favorites that they where out of tonight; like the pork steak, shrimp, or pork belly burnt ends.
Today, my dad and I went to Nubby's BBQ Telegraph and the food was incredible! We got the smoked wings which were huge and delicious! I got the ribeye cheesesteak and it was massive! The meat was juicy, tender and falling off the sandwich. He got the half chicken and he loved it. The sides were good to. After one bite, we immediately knew we had to make Nubby's a regular spot in the lunch rotation. Rating: Infinity /10.
