Try the korean food bar serving 10am-6:30pm. Their spicy pork stir fry with rice is so yummy! I won’t order the soft tofu soup again though because the ingredients are not so authentic.
I went in today (August 28) around 9 p.m. to get some food after my long shift, and I had a very disappointing experience with the cashier working at that time. She was quite rude during our interaction. When she asked me if I needed a bag for my food, I replied, "Just a fork, please," to which she responded, word for word, "You need to speak up." I was shocked; this felt unnecessarily harsh. I would have gladly repeated myself if she hadn’t heard me the first time. To make matters worse, right after handing me my change, she immediately turned around and washed her hands in the sink, which made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. This whole interaction was strange and rude, wear a glove or something if the cashier don’t want to touch cash, washing her hands immediately after she hand
I have spent a lot of money in here in the past but went to buy a protein bar at $2.75. I had no cash, and went to use my debit card and the girl told me if I want paying cash the price was now $5 for that same item. I left, went to the deli next door, was able to use my debit card there and also have been able to use Apple Pay there also without issue. Funny thing they say thank you next door also, and seem to mean it. Won’t be visiting NuLOOK moving forward. I understand there is a transaction fee for businesses and credit transactions, but this was beyond cheeky!! Again won’t be back!
Great, quick, inexpensive food. Have had the burrito, panini, salad, pasta, breakfast, and Korean food. Korean food is best...chef makes dished as spicy as ordered. Bulgogi beef has a lot of flavor and not chewy. Kimchee is decent. Dishes large enough for me to have two meals. Salads are good and inexpensive but was still hungry after. Burrito lunch special is good deal. Mexican chicken panini was made with American cheese...bleh. Breakfast was filling forever. Pasta is good deal. Little overcooked but could prob ask for al dente.
Ordered a ham and Swiss. Sandwich maker prepared it cold. Asked if it could be heated up, sandwich guy gave me grief about not telling him earlier. I said man I'm sorry I'm super hungry I'm spacing out can you heat it up now? He asks me again why I didn't tell him earlier. Thought it was kind of obvious that that's a hot sandwich order (I didn't say this), surprised the dude behind the counter was so indignant and couldn't heat it up after the fact; I'm not picky, I wasn't aggressive at all. Super weird behavior
