Number One Chinese Restaurant

This was an ok restaurant. Service was nice enough and and fast. The portions were decent (1 meat and fried rice was enough for 2) and the prices were reasonable (about $20 for the shown plus white rice). Buuuut, taste wise, everything was pretty mediocre. The beef and broccoli barely tasted like anything. Maybe it didn’t marinate enough or needed more seasoning. I asked for a small order of fried rice, which usually has vegetables and egg or something in it. As shown in the picture, it was plain rice with most likely soy sauce. Not a fried rice at all. I ended up adding seasoning and things to the food in order to enjoy it properly. Why order out if you have to end up making it yourself? Overall, very subpar and needed condiments. I would not return.

Maybe I should’ve looked at these reviews first before ordering, but I’m new to Buford area and this was the first place that popped up. I ordered online after leaving work last night and I ordered vegetable lo mein. It had the option to select add mushrooms for $2, I’m allergic to mushrooms so I did not select that option. Anywhere else I order vegetable Lo mein from it never comes with mushrooms so I did not know it automatically had mushrooms so when I get home and I open my food there’s mushrooms well they’re closed. I can’t call them so I just get off the phone and she’s gonna tell me well. I’m out of the $9.75 because I should’ve made the order and then called them even though when I ordered from their website, I did not select the options for mushrooms because I’m allergic to mushro

I purchased from NO.1 Chinese. Now before I go into what happened, I want to say I order from this place anywhere from 1-2 times a week never complained at all spending at least $20-$30 dollars each time. I purchased my order today and got home and it was not at all like I anticipated it to be. The gravy was sour, the Egg Foo Young was not cooked right at all just not great quality. I called to ask just for a credit not a refund because I was dissatisfied. The lady start talking over me and getting upset and loud. I simply tried to calm her down and explain to her I come in there alot she hung up in my face and gave no resolution. I would think twice before going to this Asian spot for Chinese. Do not order from this restaurant!! The staff sent me soup instead of white sauce. When I called to have this corrected I was told the soup is the white sauce. I described repeatedly what I received and the rude waitress and manager stated my order was correct. I simply asked for the correct items and was told I had to come pick them up. The reason I ordered delivery is because I'm recovering from surgery and I'm unable to drive. I then asked for a refund and was told I could only get a credit or contact their 3rd party for a refund. My dinner is ruined! The eggrolls were burnt! I spent over $30 on this food and it is now in the trash. Lesson learned!

It's been years since we've gotten take out from here. Well the food was just ok and mid way through i got a sharp pan in the top of my mouth so I didn't swallow and after clearing my mouth it was metal wire! So I called the restaurant and she pretend not to understand i said give me a email or phone number then she wanted to verify that I was a customer i sent the pics and he said he'd give a store credit. I said you think I'll let you cook for me again?
