Nutley Diner

Just a perfect location for a solo breakfast, lunch or dinner. You can walk in anytime of the day and it will feel very homey and cozy. The staff is super friendly, professional and they are always on the run hence this is a very fast paced environment. From the manager to the busboy everyone knows everything about this diner. The diner is super clean and the staff makes sure that every table is super clean before seating anyone. Most important aspect of this location is that everyone is hands on, including the manager. Food is delicious and very cheap. (Pancakes and waffles are the best!!!!) Definitely coming back and highly recommended spot in Nutley.

We visited for a special ceremony this morning. This diner was close to our destination. Elda was our server. The service was impeccable. The food was great. My only negative, my egg whites were not fresh. Not sure if powdered eggs or what but not my favorite. I loved loved loved the hash browns. They're amazing. I highly recommend. My husband got the banana pecan French toast. He loved them. My godmother got the western omelet. Delicious. Thank you for your great service. Iralis

Very homey feel to this diner. The moment you walk in the atmosphere feels very welcoming. The service was excellent, we were seated right away, even though the place was packed. The food was very good, and tasty. Highly recommend it for a family breakfast, lunch, or dinner experience.

OMG such a surprise this was & yes I know... Just a diner! But no, so much more! I ordered the Chicken parm quesadilla and the vodka style disco fries and they were both amazing. It was so much I had to pack it up and take it for lunch the next day. The flavors were amazing. Definitely going back to try other things that they have. And like I said above not just a diner.

I honestly don’t know how this place is still in business. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I’d stepped into a time capsule—but not the charming, nostalgic kind. More like the “we stopped caring in 1997” kind. The hostess looked annoyed that I even showed up, and after a five-minute wait in an empty diner (why??), I was seated at a sticky table that clearly hadn’t been wiped down all day. My server took another ten minutes to acknowledge me, and when they finally did, they acted like taking my order was a personal inconvenience. I ordered something simple—pancakes, eggs, and a coffee. Should’ve been foolproof. Instead, I got cold pancakes, runny eggs, and coffee that tasted like someone hadn’t cleaned the coffee pot in weeks. I asked if the pancakes could be warmed up, and they
