NY Gyro King Newark

Food: Food was very good. It was me and my groups first time trying Mediterranean food. We loved it. The portions were amazing and surely made us all very full for the rest of the day. The spices and portions were all served greatly. 10/10 Service: Mohammad served us, he is a very funny guy. Knew how to keep a conversation while also keeping things professional and making us laugh. 10/10. Atmosphere: Pretty simple inside. Just chairs and tables and the food serving bar. Still a very nice place. Will go again! 10/10

Very friendly atmosphere. The guys in there are really nice and they give lots of chicken as you can see by the photos. I didn't tell them anything other than I wanted a chicken platter, told them I want these vegetables and this is how much I got. I didn't say to add extra or anything so this is how it comes. Very nice group of guys and I will be back for me cause the food is really good. I wish the spicy sauce was more spicy though

Lamb and rice very authentic taste. One off the best in the area. 💯

ok yo shoutout to the gentleman who served me. super friendly, definitely makes every customer that walk in feel welcome. food BANGED and prices CHEAP im really just passing thru Newark but wowww that mix platter checked all the boxes. portion was hugeee. shoutout this spot 💪

I walked in freezing weather for 15 min and it's worth it! Such a big portion and the taste is great, especially like the falafel. Price is amazing too. Good thing Ubereats within range so I'll definitely get it next time but avoid walking in cold winds lol
