NYC Style Deli

I have been trying this place ever since they have recently opened, and I must say, this place is phenomenal! I have ordered their breakfast and lunch items. I ordered their New York Chopped Cheese for lunch, and then for breakfast I had ordered their Home Fries Breakfast Platter with a Parfait. Their chopped cheese is fantastic! Flavorful beef and have that home style classic corner store sandwich vibe. Absolutely loved their New York Chopped Cheese, and would HIGHLY recommend! Their Home Fries Platter was also wonderful as well too. Everything is seasoned and cooked with love. The people who run the place are extremely nice and attentive! Absolutely delicious! We ordered the Chopped Cheese, the Reuben, a side of curly fries, and a bottle of soda. Nice roll on the CC: a bit crusty on the outside, soft on the inside. Their Reuben is my favorite style: excellent pastrami and corned beef, good coleslaw, flavorful Russian dressing, and melted swiss. Curly fries were piping hot, nicely seasoned, and didn't even need ketchup. Can't wait to go back! Also: Attaching photos of ALL the menu boards for your viewing pleasure :)

Store was new thats the only good thing I have to say. Cashier who took my order was rude. Sandwich bread was staile, turkey was shavings not sliced..and i found a long hair in my sandwich ..if you want a good sandwich go around the corner and to Town hall.

So excited to have this new addition in South Orange! NYC Style Deli truly lives up to its name — it brings the real NYC deli vibe right into the neighborhood. They’ve got a solid selection of essentials like eggs, milk, yogurt, snacks, and grab-and-go groceries, which is a lifesaver especially since Ashley Marketplace closed. I finally have a place to grab last-minute items again! The menu is full of NYC-style favorites, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. One of the best parts? They’re open from 6 AM to 2 AM — seriously amazing for late-night or early-morning runs. Only downside right now is that checkout and food prep can be a bit slow, but it’s totally understandable with a brand-new opening. I’m confident they’ll smooth things out with a bit more time. Beautiful, clean and spacious store offering everything from sandwiches, burgers, shawarma, kebab, salads, fruits and fresh juices. We really needed a store like this in the area. The staff is friendly and the best thing is they are open until 2am. Now that’s NY Style for sure! Can’t wait to go back.
