Oak Island Cabana

Giving this location a 2 star for the reasons stated below. I was at OKI just recently and was glad that this location had a restroom. I agree with some of the reviews, with how much they charge for parking, they should pay more attention to the restrooms, and also add a few more locations throughout the beach. The restroom at this spot has no AC and no ventilation other than the entrance, so it gets pretty humid inside. There is only one stall and a changing area, which both could use a lot of TLC, and I mean a lot! I can say at the times I used this rest area, it was fairly clean, but the smell was not entirely pleasant. I can only speak for the women’s restroom though. They do have a sink to wash your hands—I brought my own soap to use. There is also a few washing stations to rinse of

It was nice that there's a bathroom but the floor needs made sturdier. Felt like I was going to fall through it. Would be nice to have a foot wash station. No soap in the bathroom either. Other then that it's a decent beach. A bit crowded and the path to the beach is a heck of a walk and up hill! It's nice that it's free packing unlike other beaches

Public bathroom at a beach access. Very old structure with toilet and sink . Outdoor rinse off shower. Glad it's there because it was great for our day trip to the beack

A little shabby, but public bathroom open 24. A nice overlook of the ocean, with picnic tables and ample seating. 1 shower and multiple foot washing stations, and water fountain. Handicap parking, standard parking nearby. Good beach access, and a popular location.

Very lovely beach with space to relax.
