First off - it's your only choice in OR - so take it or leave it! But it'll do for an hour or two if you want to throw some balls. The AC is hit or miss, so go on a cooler day ;) They do have cold beer too - so that's a plus. Don't expect a fancy place, cause it ain't! Might be a little sticky too LOL Sometimes the lanes don't work, but the crew does fix it for you quickly. I hear it's more fun at night when the lights go out and the glow lights come on, so we'll have to check that out.

This place has held a memorable special place in my heart a very very long time, it’s been a safe haven for me and my child when we were going through a very unhealthy relationship in nice ways, we’ve been there religiously since he was three, both arcade and bowling, last weekend, my son was told for once to do both sides, arcade and bowling, I felt like spoiling him so the first thing he obviously wanted to do was the arcade and when we came down to our last four credits, we went over to the game that had an Xbox in it, and my son won this never winnable extremely impossible game and he’s so excited, but the game malfunctioned and didn’t give us our prize. Oak Ridge Bowling Center – Old School Charm & Classic Fun We had an absolute blast at Oak Ridge Bowling Center! It’s got a true old school vibe that you just don’t see much anymore—manual reset button and all. Honestly, some of the 1-star reviews clearly don’t get the charm. If you know, you know. Yes, the lanes and balls show their age, but that just adds to the character. For $30 an hour with shoe rentals included, it’s a steal. The A/C was out during our visit, but the fans kept the air moving and it wasn’t too bad. That said, it could definitely use a few updates—maybe a working vending machine and, seriously, a bowling alley bar that doesn’t open until 5:30? That felt off. such a hidden gem, the nostalgia of this place is comforting. it has so much character and an 80’s-90’s style that feels like a bit of a time warp which we loved. good snack & bar food selection, free samples & refills, an arcade, projector screens and it was just busy enough for a thursday night without being real crowded. and the staff was extra friendly!

We hosted a birthday here for my son’s 13th birthday party and they had such a good time!! Very affordable for however many kids are in the group. They loved the pizza and Marlo Justin, Koda, and Summer took such good care of our group. They went the extra mile to make his party special. Good, old fashioned fun like bowling is hard to find (at a reasonable price) anymore so we always choose Oak Ridge Bowling Center!
