Oakland Beach

We went early in the morning. Some sketchy people hanging out in their cars in parking lot. Police rolled through three times. But! Beautiful nice walk along the beach, benches. Clubs and restaurants within walking distance.

A beautiful beach to enjoy sitting in the sun. But it also has great walking paths around the area. There is a small park area that has picnic benches, a gazebo and regular benches to sit. There is a playground, but it was under maintenance, they said it should be ready by summer. Nearby is the famous iggys chowder and clam cakes restaurant. They offer takeout or indoor seating at this time. But have a beautiful outdoor gazebo bar in the summer. And lots of other outdoor seating.

Really nice spot. Found this place on accident. Had a nice lunch and then an ice cream sundae with lil fried dough puffs at Iggy's . Cool spot!

Nice little beach with lifeguards and a shady area.

Hidden gem beach that we visited on a weekend trip to Roger Williams Zoo. There are so many food places, restrooms, and plenty of parking. Waves were calm, the beach was very clean and calm, and not rocky at all.
