OB Surf Cafe

OB Surf Café Food Truck is an absolute gem! Conveniently located at the corner of Voltaire and Cable St., it’s the perfect stop whether you’re strolling through Ocean Beach or heading to the sand. The food is fresh, flavorful, and made with care—you can taste the quality in every bite. Hence, you may have to wait 10-15 minutes for your order to be made. Portions are a decent size, and everything I’ve tried so far has been delicious. The staff is super friendly, giving the whole experience that laid-back OB vibe while still being quick and efficient. It’s rare to find a food truck that feels this consistent and welcoming. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this spot is a must-try for grabbing a tasty meal in the heart of OB. Great little spot on the corner intersection. Plenty of room to relax out front or out back in good seating. Service with a smile. And the food and drinks were delicious. Breakfast burrito and chicken and waffle burrito were very filling. Definite 5* in this hidden gem of an area.

Everything about the OB Surf Cafe is amazing. The service, food and drinks are all spectacular and I would without a doubt return and try everything. My boyfriend and I had the nicest interaction with one of the owners, it made our day being able to experience such kindness. She makes an amazing coffee and matcha too! The atmosphere here is so peaceful and serene. We sat at a table and enjoyed our food while we people watched before going to the beach. Their prices are excellent and everything is amazing quality. I highly recommend the matcha, tiramisu latte and the cali burrito - so delish. We also bought a really cute hat!!! We can’t recommend this place enough!

We came in from Phoenix for vacation & found this gem down from our Airbnb. This place is cute, relaxed & clean. My kids got the lavender Matcha & I had honey with tea, my other daughter had a Smoothie. We all got the Açaí bowls which are my favorite now and my son got their croissant breakfast sandwich. We’ll be coming back for sure next time we’re in town.

Been here a handful of times, and it’s hands down my favorite breakfast burrito spot ever. Ingredients feel very clean, and the flavor is spot on every time. If you’re looking for a heavy, greasy, extra flavorful place — this is not it. But if you want something that is delicious while making you feel great the rest of the day — this is it. Tater tots are texturally perfectly crisp. Owners are super kind. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
