OC Library - Westminster Branch

It can’t be abused of the power as a manager to harass visitors inside the library. I was there on Monday 11-17-25 around 5:20 pm. I looked around and witnessed two male librarians; a white male 6’0ft balding and an Chinese Asian male 6’0ft. Both of these librarians verbally demanded that an Asian woman move her belongings out of the library. While she used the library laptop and she said to the librarian men “ I need to print some letters”. The librarian's white male said, “ NO GET OUT”. It was raining heavily outside and she was the visitor said “Can I print out some letters and calm the rain down”. The librarian's white man said, “ GET OUT”. I have been a witness since the beginning of this year when Trump became the president. This Westminster library often harasses visitors, refusing

Very clean, helpful and friendly environment. The amazing staff is always there to help me when I ask them anything. I feel at home and like I matter when I am there. I feel cared for .

Wonderful facilit and lovely staff here. One of my favorite libraries around the world. I came here with my niece to get my library card squared away, visit the Friends of the Library bookshop and to have my niece read to a therapy dog. I've never had a better library experience, truly. There is plenty of parking, the facility is spic and span and staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The air conditioning was amazing as well, which is always a bonus during a heat wave in August. I've been handling a matter in the courthouse across the street but had never stopped into this library across the street. It's a one story brick structure, built in 1977. It's essentially one big room inside with the familiar combination of computers, stacks and desks. The selection of new books was pretty weak. They have a library book shop out back that was good. I scored 4 copies of Huckleberry Finn for our upcoming book club reading of Jim by Percival Everett for 2 bucks!

Good sized library. Has movies and graphic novels which I love. I do wish they had a guide though in order to find the books. I've slowly memorized what numbers correspond to what genres as I keep pulling up a chart for the Dewey Decimal System. They have good bathrooms and water fountains. Also good selection of books. The have a bookstore too. It is on the tinier side btw. The staff is really friendly too :)
