Oceanic at the Crystal Pier - NC

On a spur of the moment, we decided to celebrate our anniversary down in Wrightsville Beach. We decided to return to this restaurant that we had dined at before when we were first dating. Overall the food was good but based on the wait we should have gone somewhere else. Portions were fine but my wife's mahi tacos were bland, nothing but cabbage and fish. My shrimp and grits were good. Glad we came but do not need to return.

The Oceanic was such a treat! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor—but the view is the real show-stopper. Dining right on the beach with the ocean as your backdrop? Absolutely unmatched. It was recommended to us by family, and now we totally get why. From the atmosphere to the food to the coastal charm, it’s a must-visit when in Wilmington!

We visited Oceanic for our Thanksgiving meal and had a wonderful experience overall. The food was delicious and the service was truly exceptional. Our server, Serah, went above and beyond to take care of us and was warm, attentive, and incredibly hardworking, she really made our visit special. The only small drawbacks were that the gravy was a bit too salty for our taste and the mashed potatoes initially arrived cold, but they were quickly corrected. All in all, it was a great way to enjoy Thanksgiving without having to cook, and we appreciate the effort the team put into making the holiday memorable. Would definitely return!

Atmosphere and service was great. I was a little disappointed in the food. The rice was undercooked but the server quickly offered to bring us another side. Overall, excellent customer service and will definitely come back.

This place is a stop you shouldn’t miss. It’s a solid staple of Wrightsville beach and honestly the food and service is always pretty great. Locals and tourists all come here for a reason. My server Chase was so fast..take it easy ninja! lol
