Everything is wonderful about this restaurant. All I was hoping for was some decent Chilean sea bass for my birthday dinner. And it turned out to THE best from the creamy mussels appetizer, the sea bass - tender with a tiny bit of crisp (just how I love it), and the mushroom ravioli I shared with my husband, perfectly delicate. We were also treated to "the best seats in the house" by the aquarium, with 2 entertaining japanese baracuda sharks as our dinner show. Even the other guests (regulars) here were so friendly & happy. I don't often review but Oceans is Very Special!

Not sure why this place has a rating of anything over 4.0. We were in town for Modernism Week and saw this place and decided to try it. We ordered a fried appetizer that came out wet and cold. The salmon wasn’t anything special and also came out not hot. The overcooked vegetables came with pretty much every meal so you know they were taken from a large pot and not individually cooked fresh. And the dry erase board is ridiculous and tacky. Imagine sitting while the back side of that thing is near your table. Visual clutter. None of the items had prices which is suss. It’s a way to rush you through instead of individual attention by the waiter/waitress explaining the offerings. We should’ve left when the appetizer was subpar. The staff wasn’t enthused, a bit gruff. Like when you don’t order

I am sure this restaurant was a huge hit 20 years ago, but the menu and decor can use an update. I had breaded fish on mashed potatoes with green beans. Not terrible, but nothing special. The restaurant was full and the staff was friendly.

I took my wife here on a Friday night after reading so many positive reviews. It helps that I, literally, live across the street from the restaurant. It was an extremely pleasant experience all around. We started with the Fried Oysters, which were lightly breaded and very tender. My wife had the Lobster, while I opted for the Seafood Pasta. The lobster tail was quite large, fresh, and cooked perfectly, and was a big hit with my wife. The pasta arrived with two large, succulent, shrimp along with two perfectly seared scallops. We were both satiated so we skipped dessert. The service was top notch. We will definitely be back to sample more of the menu.

Absolutely loved the Atlantic lobster tail cooked perfectly and so flavorful. I highly recommend sitting by the tank with the baby horn sharks… they’re adorable and so fun to watch while you eat! 🦈 The service was amazing too. Definitely coming back!
