Oh My Gyro

First time trying Oh My Gyro in Longwood, FL after seeing positive reviews and customer photos, but unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. Please see the attached images of the items for reference. Our order included a chicken platter, burger combo with fries, tandoori chicken platter, and yuca fries. The biggest issue was the temperature, almost everything was cold. I was there waiting while the food was being prepared, so there really wasn’t time for it to sit and lose heat before leaving. The platter was packed in a foil container and the rest were packed in styrofoam containers, so I expected the food to stay warm, especially since the drive home was less than 10 minutes. I’ve been enjoying OMG since 2018, and even after moving away, I always come back here when visiting. My favorite item are their platters, but everything on their menu is tasty (they have gyros, burgers, different types of marinated grilled proteins, falafel, and desserts.) Their white sauce is scrumptious but is NOT tzatziki, which could throw people off if they’re looking for authentic Greek food. If that’s what you want, you’re best off going somewhere else. They are NY style halal, a completely different genre with their own unique flair. They always hit the spot if you want quick, yummy food while supporting a small family business.

Worth a visit if you happen to be nearby, but nothing to bring you back. Decent meat, good pita. Decent hot sauce, bad tzaziki (ranch is a closer description, but they call it tzaziki). Friendly staff! Good selections for drinks, try the watermelon soda. A place for locals.

so so yummy. 10/10 gyros with a very good drink selection. I recommend the pineapple soda 😋 the gulab jamun dessert is delish as well

We dined in last week and everything was great at the restaurant. We got in right before closing but they didn’t hesitate to welcome us and got our food ready quickly. We enjoyed the combo gyros that come with French fries and a soda! The front stuff and the owner both were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place for those who love gyros and halal fast foods.
