Okinawa Teriyaki is a consistently solid and reliable spot for a great meal, especially if you’re working or spending time downtown. The food is always fresh, well prepared, and served quickly, which makes it an easy go-to when you want something satisfying without a long wait. My favorite order is the spicy chicken teriyaki with gyoza and salad, and it never disappoints. The chicken is flavorful and perfectly cooked, the sauce has just the right amount of heat, and the portion size is generous. The gyoza are tasty and crispy, and the salad is a nice, fresh balance to the meal. It’s the kind of combo that keeps you coming back again and again. The location is another big plus. It’s conveniently close to downtown offices and just steps from the Seattle waterfront, making it a great option
I have been craving Seattle style teriyaki for 25 years. (I lived in Seattle from 2001-2003) And I finally made it back to Seattle with my family this time. Okinawa Teriyaki was close to where we were down town, we walked from Pike Place Market. Very friendly service, and the teriyaki was just as I remembered it! So delicious! Thanks so much for the food and letting me share this memory with my wife and children!
Probably one of my favorite teriyaki restaurants in Seattle! It does get busy during the lunch hour, but the staff is great at getting orders out quickly so you don’t have to wait too long. The owners are really nice too. My go-to order is the spicy chicken and gyoza combo…it’s delicious and the salad is a great complement to the meal. Parking can be a bit difficult since it’s in downtown and all street parking, but despite that, I highly recommend this place!!! Definitely give them a try!!!
Okinawa Teriyaki is one of my favorite weekday lunch spots in downtown. The staff is always friendly and the food is consistently delicious. My go-to is the chicken and gyoza meal, which comes with rice and salad. The portions are large enough to split into multiple meals. If you’re visiting Seattle or work nearby, Okinawa is worth a visit!
Chicken was DRY and RUBBERY and the rice was MUSH. The salad was SPOILED and ROTTEN. Overall grossed out and disappointed - do not come here unless you want to be overcharged for mediocre food and risk food poisoning. Service was also not the best - I ordered 4 meals to go for my family and requested to have each packed in their own plastic bag for when I drop the meals off. The waitress said she would need to charge extra for the bags (even though she had already packed 2 separate bags and the order total was over $80). Unfortunately, due to the restaurant’s location there will also be questionable people that frequent this place. I would not recommend family’s/children to go here.
