Okka Bakery

Stopped by Okka Bakery recently and honestly it was one of the best baklava I’ve had in New Jersey. The pistachio baklava was super fresh, crispy, and not overly sweet like many places make it. You can really taste the quality of the pistachios and butter. The pastries looked beautiful and everything in the display case made it hard to choose. I also tried the kadayıf and it was excellent. Light, crunchy, and perfectly balanced. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the place had a nice, clean atmosphere. If you like Turkish desserts or good baklava, this spot is definitely worth visiting. I’ll definitely be coming back.

A place where you can find magnificent baklava. You should definitely visit. The baklava is very fresh and crispy, and pure butter is used in all products. You can see the kitchen where the products are made; it is very hygienic. Mr. Zeynel is an experienced master who came from Antep and can prepare Antep Kahkesi, Katmer, and Havuc Dilimi baklava by special order. You can find classic pistachio baklava, şöbiyet, midye baklava, walnut baklava, sütlü nuriye, and şam balı. In addition, the sourdough breads are also very delicious.

I ate some amazing Turkish baklava. The staff were very attentive, understanding, and polite. They also had delicious Turkish bread, which I bought some of on my way out. I will definitely come back. Thank you for everything!

A new bakery to the region. I am a pass-by traveler. Best baklava I have had in the USA. Very fresh. The owner makes it all by himself, not even by flight from Turkey. We happened to come across a fresh batch and it was amazing. Owner is warm and friendly, he gave us free samples beyond what we expected. Needless to say, we bought for home. Thanks a lot!
