Not a bad little place to eat some pasta. There was 8 in the group and we ordered a number of different dishes I had lasagna and it wasn’t that bad. I had more cheese and pasta then meat but near the end it looked more cheese and just pasta One chap has sliders and he said they were ok. He would order again One got a prawn pasta and he said it was nice and that it had some heat to it The garlic bread was pretty nice when we got it but got cold quick. Prices are a little high for what we had but it’s not ridiculous expensive like some places in the area There is a lot on this menu to try
SOLID four stars, probably five stars occasionally. I would recommend and will be returning. I had the linguine with clams; very good heavy on the lemon. My sister in law had the lasagna which was VERY good. My mother in law had the eggplant ziti, which I would recommend needs a little spice. The calamari appetizer was fresh and perfectly fried.
Been here a few times and have really enjoyed it each time. I believe the first time I got the Sausage and Peppers. Very tasty and made me want to keep coming back. This last time I shared the Seafood Mediterranean special, the Ravioli Rose, and the Wild Mushroom Gnocchi. The Seafood Mediterranean was awesome and something I would get every time I'm here if it's available. The ravioli was delicious but very rich. The gnocchi was good, but I will try the bolognese version next time. Service is always very friendly here and I like the chill vibe. Tons of open tables at 5:30 when I showed up on a Friday night, but it was hopping when we left.
Great Italian spot in Downtown Bethesda with wonderful service, fantastic food and cozy atmosphere. The Chicken Cardinale was wonderful, pasta perfectly al dente, the cream sauce light and tasty and the chicken finished off the dish wonderfully. The bread brought to the table crunchy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. Garlic bread with the marinara sauce got 2 thumbs up. A new favorite for us.
Enjoyed tasty food and drinks on a Sunday evening! There was no wait and the restaurant was about half full. Our table had the meatball sliders as an appetizer, shrimp and crab rose’ pasta, and shrimp pesto. The sliders were big and cooked perfectly, the rose’ pasta was light but a good portion size, and the shrimp pesto was rich and decadent. We also had the 3 cannolis for dessert and they were a good size and tasted amazing! Ambiance is not a wow, but the food is of great quality, prepared extremely well, and there are plenty of flavor combinations that are craveable. Highly recommend checking out for a casual dinner date night, whether solo or with a partner.
