Old Dominion Grill and Sushi

A fun sushi place with alternatives for those people who don't like sushi. What a brilliant idea. Our sushi is always tasty, service is great. There is a young man who works there that doesn't write anything down but gets it all straight, every time. Mind like a steal trap! I enjoy their combo deal, which is 2 or 3 sushi rolls and a soup or salad. An unexpected roll I tried - sweet potato. Delish. It's a savory roll, and way better than one would think. Crunchy salmon roll is also a fav selection. I always get their mushroom soup with my combo on cold or rainy days. Such a warming way to start a meal. Great sushi joint in Frederick. I usually go to Lazy Fish for sushi, but decided to switch it up. I wasn't disappointed. The sushi rolls we ordered came out very fast. The ingredients were fresh and tasted really good. The server was really nice and accommodating. I do wish they put out regular soy sauce on the tables. Most of the tables had low sodium soy sauce on them, which wasn't quite enough to add flavor. But once I asked for regular soy sauce, they brought it out to us very promptly.

I had the pleasure of doing date night with my wife and it was a really pleasant experience. The food was good and we enjoyed ourselves. my wife wanted sushi amd we saw this place and decided to go and the sushi was good. The main dish we ordered took a little while to come out and I ordered Drunken Noodles with shrimp and chicken. My dish only had 3 shrimps which was very shocking so I mentioned and asked the server about it but they made it right and bought me out extra shrimp.

Comfortable atmosphere, very nice decoration. Food served well. Great service & great value. We had hibachi steak, drunken noodles, sexy jalapeno(spicy), sushi rolls served on nice wooden ship style plates. I also enjoyed the taro smoothie (made by Kendy). It tastes very appetizing. Hopefully we can come back here someday.
