No-frills, fast-casual spot serving the best guilin rice noodles in this part of town. Most of the patrons were Chinese. There’s a self-service bar of pickles, chilies and crispy toppings for your bowl of noodles or rice. Their specialty is the Guilin Rice noodles, which comes with sliced pork and crispy pork belly. It’s a delicious combinations of flavors and textures. The ladies working behind the counter are very sweet and friendly. Mandarin and English speaking. BONUS: no tipping here! You can eat well for around $16 and serving sizes are pretty generous.

Delicious brisket noodle. Fair amount of tendon/fat but I picked around it and the meat was delicious. Toppings like mustard greens and fried soy beans were perfect as condiments and made the noodles taste great. Loved the vinegar chile oil cucumber. Egg roll just okay. Clean dining room and friendly ladies at the counter. Cleanliness of the floor (greasy, bug) in the bathroom area needs improvement. Broth was helpful for mixing noodles, but when cooled down it had a powder taste. Stick with ice water. I will definitely come back for noodles.

God this is amazing. Even if i am a Chinese and i have just traveled to GuiLin 2 months ago. Pros: Very very competitive food quality. Especially the pickled bamboo shoots and pickled mustard greens. Also the spice are very authentic. I personally love the rice more than noodles. But pho is definitely recommended as well. Also they offer a lot of seats with no tip and service fee required. This is one of the best part as it could save us a lot. I mean usually we give a lot of tips for such good food. I was trying to give some cash into their can but i leave it in the car. Cons: for all5 star i cant really give a bad comment. But the beef roll and the sichuan spicy chicken(口水鸡牛肉卷饼), they are not as good as their rice and phone. Very normal, the taste is half-hearted.

We had a wonderful lunch at Old GUI Lin after our Tahoe trip. Their servers were super friendly and the food was amazing. Recommend to try A1, soy milk (sweeten) and veggie! As we drove home, I still crave for their soy milk and regretted that I didn’t get another one with me. Environment was clean and comfy as well! They are also dog friendly! Highly recommend!

We dropped in for Lunch just before it got busy. The ladies in the front were very nice and welcoming. We ordered a Beef brisket Rice noodle bowl and a Beef brisket rice bowl, on the side we got the Cucumber Salad and Special Pancake. Come hungry because these portions are Big!! Everything we ordered was so good, we definitely over ate lol. We will be back to try other items!!!
