Olympic Coney Island

Don't let the fact that "Olympic Coney Island" is in a shabby section of a shabby strip mall, nor the fact the interior, lit by flickering fluorescent lighting with its cheap tiles looks like something out of a 80s, indie film, deter you. The food here is excellent. I got a couple of classic "Coney Islands" - chili dogs for you uncultured , a New York - which is a classic dog with sauerkraut, and a basket of onion rings. The dogs themselves are rock solid, nicely firm with, dare-I-say natural casings(?) They have a VERY nice "bite" to them with that hint of a crisp from the casing. The chili was alright, but the kraut was great. The onion rings were onion rings, breaded as opposed to battered(my PREFERENCE), but they were a nice highlight to the meal. I used to come here every weekend a few years ago. Today I decided to stopped by for a brunch. Good quality food exceeded my expectations. Steak was just right at what I wanted.

This place is pretty nice. We got breakfast and lunch foods, and everything was good and fast. They serve breakfast all day, as well as many other entrees for lunch and dinner. The only thing that needed work was the mashed potatoes, as they were instant. The service was friendly, and it's a cute little restaurant that deserves more attention. The salad was really good and bigger than I expected, which was nice. We plan on going there much more often to try the different things they serve.

We've been eating there for years now. And every time we go there it's a great experience. They have one of the best Gyros in this area. And we've eaten at many places around here. Their breakfasts are yummy. And I enjoy their fish. I absolutely recommend eating here if you enjoy yummy homemade food. They are reasonably priced.

During my search for novel experiences in Springfield, I came across an establishment that initially eluded my notice and could be mistaken for another well-known establishment. This establishment exudes a familial atmosphere, reminiscent of a traditional mom-and-pop establishment. The pricing structure is quite reasonable, offering excellent value for the quantity of food provided. The meal was served at an appropriate temperature, and the fries were satisfyingly crispy. I appreciate the attentiveness of my server in ensuring our satisfaction. However, my request for a to-go beverage was unfortunately overlooked.
