Omar's Cafe

This place has gone DOWN HILL with the quality of the steak sandwiches. Buys the cheapest cuts with to tough, elastic, stringy and under seasoned. The bread has changed aswell. For someone that has ate this sandwiches ever since I was a little girl ive notice the change. Won't be coming back. Money invested in the aesthetic but not in the quality of the food.

Great food reasonable prices.

The cafe is small but can accommodate about 20 to 30 patrons much bigger than your typical cafe....very well maintained and clean ....excellent decorations and memobilia of the past years ...fresh made juice drinks and hot prepared food buffet as well as sandwiches and alla carte dishes to order. I've been here before about six years ago prices were less than but it's the sign of the times....some prices are reasonable some are slightly higher but the quality of food and portions are very good .To start I had for starter a cup of coffee with a (chicken empanada/pastelillo ) cause it was so delicious better than an empanada looked more like a pastelillo flaky crust stuffed with well seasoned shredded chicken ....A+ NEXT I ordered a Cuban sandwich ...WOW...on point delicious bread toasty in

We went to Omar’s this morning for a bite, upon entry we were warmly greeted and customers looked to be regulars. All of this was a good sign. We ordered two Taylor ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches and coffee. This sandwich was no joke it was much larger than expected, the bread was fantastic, eggs cooked just right and the Taylor Ham, well it’s Taylor Ham it’s always perfect. The Cuban coffee was amazing. Highly recommend.
