On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

Restaurant needs some upgrades and a good cleaning. Seats are worn out. Booths not bolted to the floor and make you feel like you’re reclining. Food was good. Service was good and staff was friendly. Went during a slow time and the food took a little longer than expected and arrived only warm, not hot. Do your own math on the tips. These numbers are incorrect for the percentage.

You know everyone needs food for the soul. So I stopped by an all time favorite restaurant, On the Border. Was greeted, Fatima was my server. What a lovely person. She had the most pleasant personality. And the food was very delicious 😋. Thanks Fatima for how welcome you made me feel. It was my pleasure to have met you. Blessings in this new season of 2026. Haven't eaten here in a decade, in the neighborhood, so I thought I'd try it. Great service, but the chicken enchiladas were not as good as what I remember. Lot more black beans also, good for tortilla chip dipping when you run out of rice to mix. Atmosphere a bit noisy and plenty of space, but you get seated to the chatterbox. Such is life, doubt I'll be back any time soon.

Family friendly spot for weekend hangouts, it’s more on a casual atmosphere…the service was quick to sit us in a booth and took our order. Loonie our service was exceptional, he made sure we were comfortable and have everything needed. I loved the pineapple Margarita; bartender mixed that smooth👌. Food was delicious and we had lots of fun

Terrible. Ordered 3 southwest chicken tacos, they forgot to add the sauce, and there was a single small piece of chicken in each taco. There were more onions than there were chicken. Used to be a big fan, unfortunately so many things have changed in a negative way.
