Ooka sushi.hibachi steak house

We have visited Ooka many times, and it never disappoints. The interior is simple , but the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming. They have a great variety of food choices, but the sushi is the real star. For the price point, the quality is on a very high level—everything is incredibly fresh and made with top-tier ingredients. Our absolute favorite appetizer is the Baked Mussels; we order them every single time. Highly recommend You definitely need to book a table in advance because they are always packed!

Ooka is a sushi spot I go to on the regular. Food is always delicious. In previous visits service is always great. The last few times I had Amywu who is ALWAYS a pleasure. However, today I had an experience that was very off putting. May was very rude and inattentive. From the very beginning we were rushed which is just not okay. I think these are the type of employees that can ruin an establishment’s ENTIRE reputation. After the bill was paid in which we were rushed for. We waited 20 mins for a box because she never returned. So I had to find her and ask for one. How unprofessional is that after she lingered at the table for the check? Completely unacceptable. Last time me and my friends will be at Ooka.

Currently live in Colorado and in town for a visit. Had to revisit my favorite Sushi Restaurant in my experiences. Everything was FRESH and tasty. The salad dressing has an incredible citrus ginger dressing that I could've spoon in my mouth as a soup... The miso soup was hearty and my Sirachai Bowl was so good, and quite filling with an assortment of sashimi over a bed of rice.

Was celebrating a friends birthday with a group of friends(11). Made reservations but still had wait about 30 minutes. When seated , seats were tight with little room to be comfortable. Grill had old food remnants on it. Most of us ordered one of the more pricey items on the menu. I had the surf and turf where the lobster was over cooked and tough. When completing our meal, we had brought a cake which we felt pressure to "hurry up" and pay and leave. Hostess, manager stood behind our group as we completed collecting the money asking at least 3 times were we ready to pay. I understand that restaurants are in the business to make money. But this service left me uncomfortable and would not recommend this establishment. Don't take reservations so close together, make seating more comfortable

A really good spot for some tasty sushi. The staff are friendly and helpful. This place can get really busy so reservations are essential for large groups. It’s also quite loud when it’s really busy.
