Orange County Health Department

The nation and state as a whole- currently, is a half star but in terms of this being a good community resource with helpful staff- I'm okay w giving Orange County's Health Department a much higher rating.

Friendly, professional staff were great to facilitate my vaccination updates. OCHD is the place to go for vaccinations for sure! Thanks, y'all!

In the beginning it was necessary to visit Orange County Social Services as much as three times a year. Now I visit only once a year. With the option of handling my business online, and not visiting the office at all. Truth be told I enjoy the face to face contact because the associates are so friendly and don't seem to mind taking the time to explain any confusion you might have.

We had an amazing experience with a rapid COVID test at the Orange County Health Dept. When CVS cancelled our appointment last minute before a trip, we were left scrambling. We found this location and decided to give it a try. It took 10 minutes total for five of us. We should have gone here in the first place.

The receptionist was very aggravated sounding and then when they transferred me to someone else that person hung up on me. It wasn't an accident, you could hear them slam down the phone. I guess they were busy and they didn't think my needs were important. Then I called back and she said "I don't have nothin' to help you in chapel Hill." Whatever that means. I didn't get her name but she had a Latino accent. All I said is that I needed to be seen urgently for a reproductive issue. And the Hillsborough office is closed because of some type of "event?" Then finally after being hung up on twice, I called back and she acted mad at me for calling back even though she's the one that hung up on me without saying anything! She gave no apology, and no other suggestions. If these people don't care
