I couldn’t say enough good things about Orchard Hill Baking!! We stopped in for the first time last weekend and the owner quickly greeted us, offered several different samples of her amazing homemade bread, and took her time with all question and conversation. We ended up taking home a great Italian loaf, warm cookies, muffins, and a brownie. Great baker, who you can tell is passionate about the craft and very down to earth! What a gem. Still enjoying the loaf of Italian this week.

I'm embarrassed to say I didn't know this lovely little bakery in my backyard - so to speak - existed until a week ago. After seeing photos of Chocolate Stout cake provided by this bakery on another venue page, I had to try it asap. I patiently waited until Saturday morning ( right now it's only open Saturdays & Sundays) and headed over. The bakery serves individual Chocolate Stout cupcakes which is perfect because then I can't overeat. One rich chocolaty cupcake covered in a coconut chocolate ganache was perfect. And, I'm not even a fan of coconut. Lots of rich cocoa flavor without all the sugar. It was worth the wait. Orchard Hill Bakery is the BEST!! It’s nuzzled in the Northwest corner of Connecticut in Riverton it’s worth the hype! The owner and the staff are super friendly and ready serve your picks !! The goodies are DELICIOUS and I promise will hit the spot! If you haven’t been you need to. It will be your new favorite spot!! Goodies for everyone!! They have a good variety of GLUTEN FREE as well! Sourdough breads and any and all of the sweets you can imagine!! My family and I have many favorites here! Do yourself a favor take the trip and go check it out!!

My friends and I stopped in Orchard Hill Bakery after meeting the owner yesterday at a coffee shop and we are so glad we made the detour to stop by today! It was very popular and had a lot of people coming in and out while we were there. I loved this bakery because you can get classics like chocolate chip cookies or strawberry muffins but there are really unique items as well that you won’t be able to find anywhere else. I got the Korean Spice cookie (Gochujang) and it was SO good. Had never had a cookie like that before and I loved the creativity of it. Wish I lived closer! Definitely stop by if you have the chance.
