Customer Reviews
My husband and i recently dined in at Origen 32. The restaurant had a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Arturo was our waiter and Andy was the bartender for the night. The drinks were great. This place has amazing cafe de olla and the margaritas are so good. The service was friendly and attentive—our server made great recommendations and checked in often without being overbearing. Prices were reasonable for the quality, and there were plenty of options . I loved the fish and chips, and my husband enjoyed the grill octopus. We had a great time. Come out and enjoy a great time. . We watched the Padre game on their large screen tv’s. Had Arturo & Andy
I’ve been twice in the past two weeks! Great service, amazing food, and lovely atmosphere. The aguachile and the stuffed shrimp were *amazing*, the drinks were refreshing, and the vibes were immaculate. Will be back soon!
We came on a Sunday afternoon. The wait staff is very friendly and puts us at our table. When we looked through the menu, we realized that it was mainly seafood. However, they did have non-seafood items, but there are only three items. Which was no big deal. My companion ordered mini asada tacos with fries, and I ordered the 14oz steak (medium rare) with fries. It took about 15 minutes for the tacos and about 20 minutes for the steak. When I received the steak, it came with a salad, rice, beans, and 3 corn tortillas. This confused me because I thought I ordered steak and fries, but it was no big deal as the dish looked great. The sides were great, but the steak was almost flavorless. It was also quite chewy for what I wanted. I cut into the steak and looked medium rare. The other hal
It's a hit! Menu has a nice balance of dishes from Mexican seafood, steak, enchiladas, and delicious desserts. Portions are fantastic on the tacos. Will definitely be coming back for more. First impressions are that I like this better than El Pulpo and La Divina that were in the same building in the past.
Atmosphere is 10/10. They have a live saxophone player on sundays. GREAT service. Super nice and friendly people. Chilaquiles with green salsa are BOMB. Didn’t love the red salsa ones. They have the option to add an egg and it comes with 2 which is nice. Enmoladas were a great portion with enough chicken but the sauce wasn’t my favorite and my group agreed. Definitely nice portions for certain dishes.
