Origin Thai

Having recently moved to Morristown, and previously lived in Thailand for 5 months with a Thai friend of mine from law school - I was craving a taste of Thailand. I ordered the massaman curry with chicken which was incredible, and a bit of a fusion take on the traditional ones I ate in Bangkok. Phoebe spend time explaining her take on the dish, and why it would taste different than a massaman in Thailand due to how the ingredients are grown and availability of the ingredients here. The food was incredible and the service was top notch. Phoebe was went above and beyond in her service and hospitality, she knows Thai cuisine quite well and has her own take on some of the dishes. I highly recommend it if you are in Morristown or the area.

I’ve been here many times and always had great experiences. Amazing BYOB restaurant. The lunch menu is really affordable with good choices. The pad Thai was so good it didn’t make the picture 😂 I also like their Massaman Curry. I ordered the curry puffs as an appetizer and they’re delicious!

We always have a good experience here. Pad see ew and the wild boar are our go to’s. The chef is really friendly and the food is always fresh and high quality. We will be back soon.

Phoebe and her team deliver exceptional food - fresh and flavorful. Try their Pad Kee Mao with chicken and shrimp. The portion size is generous, you won’t leave hungry. Origin Thai is a hidden gem in Morristown.
