Ortona Tavern

Lovely Tavern. We met the owner our first trip there. She was closing up and was sweet enough to let us have a quick beer and relax on the porch. Second time we visited we enjoyed the ladies working there. They were Friendly and pizza was delicious. We were camping across the lock and rode our bikes over to go have a beer and food. Great service

A super cute place just a bit south of hwy 78. Rustic, beautiful scenery. Only a few tables on the inside, but who cares, the scenery outside is what you want n there is plenty The owner n staff are more than accommodating. She even brought my doodle a treat n he didn’t want t leave. A great experience for all. I’ll definitely be back!!!

Awesome place tucked away waiting to remind you that nostalgia blends with hospitality and comfort food on the back roads of Florida. My husband and I stopped in as we were driving across the state. We loved the friendly service, the food, and the retro diner decor. To make it even better, they do karaoke on the patio right on the water. Awesome vibes!

What a great place!! We needed a place to take a quick day trip, so my girl and I hopped in the truck and drove out to BFE, and fount Ortana!! How cool!!! The ladies working were so cool, the food was great, the drinks were cold, and the water front mood was perfect!! We WILL be back!! Thank you!!

The river view is so peaceful and relaxing, the food from burgers, killer Rueben’s, and even the charcuterie featuring blueberry goat cheese is delicious. Did I mention cold drinks? Perfect for a bike stop or spend a whole afternoon here!
