I celebrated my birthday at Oscar Wilde and it was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff made me feel so special. Our waitress, Anna, was amazing—attentive, warm, and truly made the whole experience memorable. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the attention to detail throughout the restaurant was beyond impressive. Everything—from the atmosphere to the service—made my birthday celebration perfect. Donna !!

Love this restaurant for the decor and atmosphere! Had great service with Anna! She was a lovely server and we had good laughs. The mocktails are amazing. My only complaint is the food... the fries didn't taste fresh, the portions are small, the pizookie was burnt.

The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas — the festive décor created such a warm, magical atmosphere that instantly put us in the holiday spirit. The vibe was incredible, cozy, and full of joyful energy. The service was outstanding from start to finish — attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which made the evening even more special. I visited Oscar Wilde with my family to celebrate my birthday which happened to be on Thanksgiving. We had a reservation, and I arrived first, but they wouldn’t seat us until the entire party arrived. We also needed a low table because one member of our group used a cane. They had very few low tables available, and even though we arrived early, the only one left was next to a loud machine (possibly an ice maker) that made noise throughout our stay. We ordered from the main menu instead of the Thanksgiving prix fixe. For appetizers, we shared crispy calamari, chicken dumplings, and buffalo cauliflower. I went with a girlfriend of mine for Afternoon Tea. The Tea Service was so beautiful and chic! It was a very snowy day in NYC, and the restaurant was so cozy and inviting! Everyone was so wonderful. Elian was so friendly and started us off with some tea. Maxine was the best, she took such great care of us and we honestly felt like we were saying goodbye to longtime friends by the time we were leaving! 10/10! This is a must-visit destination in NYC! Bonus points because the Victorian decor is so beautiful too.
