Very disappointed. We ordered chicken nachos and a shredded beef enchilada combo plate. The cheese on nachos was not melted. My enchiladas were barely warm. Then when cutting into them one had only peppers&onion in it no beef. When waitress came over we showed her and she offered a new plate or something different. I went with 2 🌮 instead. One was a birria and the other a shrimp. The birria one was just okay. The shrimp one I had one bite. You could barely fine the shrimp. When waitress came by again we showed her. She said its premeasured whatever that means. All I can say is I've had better food at taco bell.
I typed in Google"best Nachos in corvallis " and sure enough these big beautiful Nachos are my treat tonight! We also ordered a raspberry margarita! It was beautiful and the best one I've ever had! Lots of food for great value! Customer service girl, Sarita, seriously nicest helper I've ever had! So friendly and so knowledgeable! Thank you OSCAR'S !! We will be back for football on your big screen t.v. for fun game nights!
I’m a little surprised how high the ratings are for this place. The food was okay, nothing that spectacular. I think the complimentary chips and salsa might have been the best thing. The fish tacos are not good. The chilequeles was so so. The buffalo burrito was so so.
I'm new to the area with plenty of free cashflow for dining. Looking for a regular mexican food spot. Oscar's dining area and restroom were clean. My server was unnecessarily snarky. I asked a couple reasonable questions and the answers were basically 'it says on the menu'. I hoped the food would redeem them. Chips were hot and tasty. There is a big sign that says 'wood fired grill' so I ordered the carne asada burrito. The carne asada was barely grilled at all. It was closer to ground beef and reminded me of canned pet food. The portion size was good relative to price. Most of the time I just looked forward to leaving.
The food was really great. Also, the restaurant was well appointed and quiet. We got a booth. Also a fun place! The staff was fun and engaging without being intrusive.
