Ott's Pasta Carry Out

I have eaten otts oaata 10+ times in 2023-2024, but I hasn’t started eating again until August 2025 and I have gone 3 times and every time the food has been terrible. Tonight I went to get food for my girlfriend and myself, and got 2 entrees and some extra bread sticks. I ordered it on DoorDash and when I went to pick it up the guy handed the order to me, and said my name and then have a nice night. I then got home 25 minutes away to open my bag and there is only one entree, and the breadsticks are just sitting loosely in the bag in no heat sleeve and they have red sauce on them like their hands were dirty while bagging them, and the breadsticks were incredibly cold and hard. This place is very hole-in-the-wall, yet still a staple here in Springfield. They are reliably delicious and affordable, carry out only (no seating, no restroom). You can get nice pasta for under $10, that's crazy these days

Best bang for your buck we have found in the Springfield area! My husband and I came in for lunch, the gentleman cooking/working the counter was super friendly and helpful and got our food to us at record speed. We both got the spaghetti and meat sauce and the sauce was out of this world! Great little hole in the wall Italian gem- great food, great service!

WARNING DO NOT ORDER: Ordered fettuccine Alfredo and spaghetti and meatballs plus and extra side of meatballs at 8:00pm. Since their hours were till nine I did not think it would be a problem. They decided to close an hour early on Friday night October 10th despite multiple orders coming in and their hours being listed till 9pm. Went inside to pick order up at 8:10pm and was told there was no more fettuccine tonight and then another customer walked in and was told their order was fully cancelled and refunded because they decided to turn the fryers off early, who also was shocked since it was nearly an hour before close. Got home and realized I did not have the side of meatballs I ordered so I called and went back to get a refund. It was 30 minutes before close and the lights were off and c

The Alfredo sauce here is delicious! Great for dipping my breadsticks in too. Michael was polite and helpful. Will be stopping here on my lunch break more often.
